NCR Claims Patent Violations of online retailers

NCR is part of an accelerating trend of patent infringement fights within the e-commerce industry, say patent attorneys. NCR is claimed in the article on Internet Retailer to have "been sending patent infringement letters to bigger web merchants for at least four years, says another online retailer who asked not to be identified. NCR has received remuneration from web retailers who opted to settle the patent infringement dispute out of court".
