Technology’s impact on industry and society

The Constantia Institute is a Brussels-based think-tank that focuses on how technology can be used to benefit society.  

We examine the integration of data, AI, and intelligent building systems towards workspaces that have meaningful outcomes. 

Technologies that sense, interpret, and respond to human emotional and cognitive states promise enhanced experiences but raise significant ethical considerations. So we also look at user and data privacy, security and process management in the use of augmented intelligence. 

As technologies become embedded further in our daily work lives, success will be not measured by technology but by better ways to orchestrate employee experience and customer engagement, creating a new benchmark for intelligent placemaking.  This will include biophilic design and inclusion of nature in workspace for well being.
